If you manufacture pressure equipment directive (PED) or pressure equipment safety regulations (PESR) Category II, III & IV equipment using permanent joints, then you will need to comply with PED Annex 1 § 3.1.2 or PESR Schedule 2 § Part 3, Regulation 21 (3).
